Dan Skinner, Principal:
Dan has over 20 years experience as a Strategy & Operations leader and consultant. Before starting Sailflow Consulting, he worked for Booz Allen Hamilton, IBM Global Business Services and Corning Incorporated. He has provided strategic and transformation planning consulting services to industry-leading companies, Federal agencies and non-profits, while applying Operational Excellence methods to develop and execute world-class business processes.
He started his career with Corning Incorporated in their Baldrige Award-winning Optical Fiber Division, successfully leading projects and teams as a Process Development Engineer, then Senior Shift Supervisor in the world's largest optical fiber manufacturing plant in Wilmington, NC., before transferring to Corning's NY Headquarters, where he led the division's Global Short-Term Demand Forecasting process.
Dan holds an MBA from Cornell University's S.C. Johnson Graduate School of Management, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech and a BME in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Delaware. He is currently an Alfond Scholar at Northeastern University's Roux Institute, where he is pursuing an MPS in Data Analytics.
